Incense Meditation
Goosebumps during Meditation?
Is it normal to occasionally have goosebumps during meditation?
**I meditate with an incense, a candle and a soothing music in the background.
I see... I thought meditation is to clear your mind from thoughts? How can it helps you provide a solution?
Anyway, I also have the feeling that I'm been stared at during meditation. Or is it just me? >.<
Depending on how deep you go, you may experience different sensations. You are bringing your body under control; lowering your blood pressure, heart rate, necessity to breathe. Each degree you are able to achieve gives your body the rest and tranquility it needs to rejuvenate.
Scientists proved that in very deep trances, brainwave patterns are similar to those of patients during near death experiences (NDE).
Because it clears your mind and helps reduce the toxins in your body, your mind is more alert upon exiting your trance. But, during the trance, things that may be bothering you are also released. Your unconscious mind then has the ability to solve these problems; you will know the answers as if you had "slept on it".
I once entered a hospital room in a deep trance. I was about to have a shot in my cervical vertebrates, so it was imperative that I was under sedation and unable to move. However, no one had given me the sleeping medicine. Prior to the doctor's arrival, the other doctors and nurses were asking about the medication and interrupting my ability to go deeper, so I lifted my head and said, "Meditation!".
When my chart arrived that stated I hadn't been given the medications, one man said, "I thought I had good biorhythm." The doctor was also shocked and a little uncomfortable starting the procedure before the injection could take effect. He said, "This is going to feel like a small pinch..." and it did. The next thing I knew I was waking in my room, well rested. He called that afternoon to see how I was doing, and told me about going to the dentist. He was afraid of the shots, but my image was in his head, so he felt foolish.
I did the same thing when I had to have a shot deep into the shoulder joint; by the time they entered the room I could barely mumble. He and his staff wanted me to teach them, but you can give people the ideas and it is up to them to trust themselves enough to free their mind.
Each step brings more peace, but you cannot let it bother you if you do not reach a deep level as you begin. Letting go is difficult for many people, but the more you are able to do so, the more you will grow in your abilities. t

I just read the comments about clearing your mind. You will never be brainless, and this is not the occult.
You will not be able to completely clear your mind, it is busy analyzing your situation, the new impulses, the "sensation" of being watched, keeping your body alive, etc.
This is for physical well being. I am a Christian, and the trances I've described were achieved during my Christian walk.
Christ gave me the gift of the "other comforter" (the Holy Spirit) to be with me while He was away. He freely gives this precious gift to all Christians who open the door and ask Him into their hearts.
Once you belong to the Lord, you give Him your heart, might, mind, soul, love, everything you are or ever will be because He loves us so very much and your heart overflows with love for Him. I left the religion of my family because I found God in the Bible, and He fills me; I would never be an empty vessel that Satan could enter.
Where there is light, no darkness can exist. Every Christian should know this.
